Join our new biomass power plant in Diepholz
HoSt Group is currently constructing a modern 25 MW thermal power plant in Diepholz, fuelled by waste wood. The plant will reliably generate electricity and process steam for an industrial customer while making an important contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions.
Commissioning is planned for March 2027. To operate the plant, we are building a small, specialised team that will be responsible for ensuring its safe, reliable and efficient day-to-day operation.
As a Bioenergy Plant Operator (m/f/d), you will be involved from the very beginning. Following comprehensive training and onboarding, you will take responsibility for the daily operation of the plant, monitor its processes and respond to technical deviations or malfunctions.
Do you enjoy hands-on technical work, taking responsibility and the opportunity to be involved in a new energy plant from the start? Then we would be happy to meet you.
Your responsibilities
As a Plant Operator, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the power plant.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating, controlling and monitoring the power plant and its associated technical systems;
Monitoring operating parameters and ensuring stable and efficient plant operation;
Carrying out regular plant rounds and inspections;
Identifying, analysing and resolving technical malfunctions during operation;
Performing minor maintenance and repair activities;
Supporting planned maintenance and repair activities;
Documenting relevant operating data, malfunctions and actions taken;
Working closely with internal and external specialists from Operations, Service, Engineering and Maintenance;
Ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations;
Participating in the rotating on-call duty of the operations team.
Your onboarding and training
As this is a new plant, we want to ensure that you are fully prepared for your future responsibilities before commissioning.
After joining HoSt, you will complete a structured onboarding and training programme. During this period, you will become familiar with the plant technology, processes, operational procedures and safety requirements.
This will ensure that you are fully prepared when the power plant becomes operational in March 2027.
