Your role as Software Engineer

In this versatile role, you’ll combine software development, electrical engineering, and a service-oriented mindset. You will test systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement smart improvements to optimize our energy installations. Working closely with colleagues, service engineers, and international customers, you will play a key role in keeping our installations safe, efficient, and sustainable.

What you will do?

  • Design, implement, and test modifications to existing installations, including on-site if required;

  • Troubleshoot and independently resolve electrical and software-related faults;

  • Actively contribute ideas for improvements and automation solutions;

  • Provide technical support to service and maintenance teams, as well as to customers;

  • Collaborate with international colleagues on challenging projects and innovative solutions.

Vereisten

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field;

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems;

  • Experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal is a strong plus;

  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written;

  • Solution-oriented with strong communication skills;

  • In possession of a VOP/VP certificate (up to 1 kV) or willing to obtain it.
