Your role

Host Latvia is a part of the HoSt Group. As an Operator of boiler plants you will work on our boiler plants in the Netherlands.  Together with a small team you will ensure the daily operation of the plant and do minor maintenance. Furthermore, you will participate in the periodic maintenance stops, planning and preparing.

 

Job description

You will be joining a team of Latvian operators already working on the boiler plants in the Netherlands. The work is organized based on 3 weeks in the Netherlands followed by 3 weeks home. During the working weeks we expect you to work on site during normal working hours and be available on-call for emergency situations.

 

Your tasks

  • Monitoring, checking and operating the plant;

  • Performing maintenance work on the plant;

  • Troubleshooting;

  • Providing advice on operating;

  • Analysis of technical problems;

  • Proposing process improvements;

  • Participate in planning, preparation and performance of maintenance stops. 

Job requirements

What do we ask

  • Experience and/or good understanding in operating thermal plants;

  • A relevant technical education will be an asset;

  • Technical insight in hot water boiler and/or steam boiler technology;

  • Good command of English;

  • Ability and willingness to travel;

  • High level of responsibility;

  • Ability to work independently and handle stress situations.
