For the HyGear engineering department we are looking for an intern! The following internships / graduation assignments are available.

1 Updating and upgrading date dashboard hydrogen generators;

2 Development a small scale methanol plant.

1 Updating and upgrading date dashboard hydrogen generators

Suitable for BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Sustainable Energy

Hygear has a dashboard where shut downs of our hydrogen generators are systemically presented. This dashboard needs an upgrade to reduce the time spent on retrieving the data with a new software package. Hygear uses this data to get more insight into the improvement program of our hydrogen generators.

Your tasks:

• Update the dashboard to make it run easier and user friendly;

• Update the output of the dashboard to present clear data;

• Implement data retrieval from old software to new software;

• Add additional products to the dashboard.

2 Development a small scale methanol plant

Suitable for BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Sustainable Energy

In this internship, you Develop a plant that is converting a CO/H2 mixture (produced from biogas with heat from a heliostat field) into methanol. The internship comprises a theory study and process modelling and will result in a preliminary design of a plant.

Your tasks:

• Study theory;

• Process modelling;

• Process design.

• BSc / MSc in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Sustainable Energy;

• Interested in sustainable energy technology;
