Job description
For the R&D Biogas engineering department we are looking for interns! The following internships / graduation assignments are available. Apply using the apply button and select the (graduation) internship you are interested in.
Pilot Plant Biological Biogas Desulphurization
One of the main (undesirable) by-products in biogas production is H2S. At the moment, the H2S is captured by means of activated carbon, but this means a contaminated waste stream. Therefore, a biological desulphurization pilot installation has been designed that has to be tested in the field.
Your tasks:
- Making an energy- and mass balance;
- Setting up a test plan for the pilot system;
- (if necessary) supervising and helping with the construction of the pilot system;
- Commissioning the pilot system and regular on-site testing.
