The role

We develop and implement innovative renewable energy technologies, such as biogas plants and CO₂ recovery, with projects in over 30 countries and a team of more than 700 colleagues.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work in a new and growing role within Bright Service. You will be given plenty of scope not only to devise maintenance strategies, but also to actually implement and improve them.

You will be the link between service, engineering and projects, and will contribute directly to increasing the reliability, availability and maintainability of our installations.

What makes this role unique?

In this role, you’ll help build the foundations of maintenance at Bright Service, with a great deal of autonomy and scope for initiative. You’ll have a direct impact on installations both at home and abroad and will work closely with engineering and service teams. You’ll also be part of an organisation that actively contributes to the energy transition.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and improving maintenance and reliability strategies (such as RCM, TPM, FMECA);

• Optimising preventive and – where possible – predictive maintenance;

• Analysing fault data and carrying out Root Cause Analyses (RCA);

• Developing spare parts and critical spares strategies;

• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement based on data and practical experience;

• Advising on maintainability for new projects and modifications;

• Collaborating with service engineers and project teams to put improvements into practice.

Who are we looking for?

• A higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar discipline;

• 2–5 years’ work experience in maintenance, reliability, service or process improvement role;

• Familiarity with methodologies such as RCM, TPM, FMECA and RCA;

• The ability to translate data and practical experience into structural improvements;

• Analytical, results-oriented and strong communication skills;

• You engage people in improvement initiatives and enjoy working as part of a team.
